Vision Statement
The vision for Management & Administration is to develop students who have a holistic understanding of business practices, influences and theory. The curriculum develops students’ understanding of a breadth of business theory, whilst emphasising their ability to apply and enhance their English, maths, and digital skills. Students will complete a minimum of 45 days industry placement which informs classroom practice and fosters their leadership occupational specialism skills. This will equip students to contribute to their workplace and gain valuable experience as an integral part of their qualification.
We seek a variety of placement types so that students can share their experiences back in the classroom by enriching discussions about theory with real-business practices, enabling them to compare and contrast how theory is implemented in different contexts. We aim to foster a desire and skill set to maintain lifelong learning and development. Upon successful completion students will have the equivalent of 3 A-Levels and a minimum of 315 hours of quality work experience, enabling them to enjoy a fulfilling career, whether that be through apprenticeship, university or employment.
