Vision Statement

Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive environment that inspires and empowers young musicians to reach their fullest potential. We envision a community where every individual is encouraged to explore their musical talents, develop their unique artistic voice, and instil a lifelong love and appreciation for music. At the heart is a commitment to excellence in music performance. We strive to provide a platform for students to showcase their skills, take risks, and push their boundaries. Through rigorous training, mentoring, and performance opportunities, we aim to develop well-rounded musicians who possess technical proficiency, expressive artistry, and an understanding of various musical genres and styles. Through the power of music, we aspire to foster creativity, self-confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose in each student, empowering them with skills and qualities that extend beyond the stage.

Specification being followed: At Key Stage 5, our students study the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Music Performance. There are two externally assessed units and these are both completed in Year 1 – allowing for retakes should the students need to improve their grades.
