Vision Statement

Our level 3 BTEC National Extended Certificate in Business is an introduction to the business sector for learners whom an element of business would be complementary. It supports progression to higher education when taken as part of a programme of study that included other vocational or general qualifications.

This course offers exciting opportunities to gain an in-depth understanding of business principles and practice. You will develop skills, knowledge and confidence in a range of business environments, marketing, finance and management activities. Students could develop their understanding from KS4 to support their understanding and enhance their skills in KS5. They will cover business theories and models which they will be able to research how the frameworks are used and applied to real life businesses. The qualification gives learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the business sector that will prepare them for further study or training.
