Vision Statement

The opportunities for students of English Literature are wide ranging. A level Courses in English Literature complement other Sixth Form courses and are designed to encourage wide reading and advanced detailed research within the whole field of literary studies.

Qualifications in English Literature are desirable as an entry to many different careers. These may include: Marketing, Journalism, Education, Film Production, Media Studies, Creative Writing, Social Sciences. All courses at Walsall Academy are designed to provide academic and vocational experiences. They will prepare students for their choice of career in both the world of work and Higher Education.
