IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19
Under Step 4 guidelines and the Department for Education Guidance to schools in July, students will no longer be asked to wear face coverings in the Academy unless Public Health Walsall instructs the Academy otherwise. Students using public transport to and from the Academy should wear face coverings.
Social distancing measures will have ceased, but the Academy will still continue with an enhanced cleaning programme, hand washing and increased ventilation of all areas.
All students will be offered two on-site lateral flow tests before they start back at the Academy and should continue to test twice weekly reporting the results on the Academy website and with the NHS.
If a student displays any Covid-related symptoms they should not come into school – they should book a PCR test and await the result. Students may be notified by Track and Trace to self-isolate this should be reported to the Academy’s attendance office.
