Vision Statement

For all students to “Learn, Do and Use” Science:

• To gain substantive knowledge, disciplinary skills, and wider understanding in Science [LEARN].
• To develop those scientific skills over time, demonstrating increased precision and confidence [DO].
• To increasingly apply their knowledge and understanding to new scenarios, in a way that demonstrates expertise, common sense, and both critical and scientific thinking. [USE].

such that all students have developed an understanding of how they, their world, and their universe works.

Specification being followed: AQA Biology (8461), AQA Chemistry (8462) and AQA Physics (8463)

Students complete the equivalent of THREE GCSE’s work, and receive three single, separate grades – each on based on their performance in either Biology, or Chemistry, or Physics.
