Vision Statement

For all students to “Learn, Do and Use” Science:

• To gain substantive knowledge, disciplinary skills, and wider understanding in Science [LEARN].
• To develop those scientific skills over time, demonstrating increased precision and confidence [DO].
• To increasingly apply their knowledge and understanding to new scenarios, in a way that demonstrates expertise, common sense, and both critical and scientific thinking. [USE].

such that all students have developed an understanding of how they, their world, and their universe works.

Specification being followed: AQA Combined Science (Trilogy) 8464.

Students complete the equivalent of TWO GCSE’s work, and receive a double grade (e.g. 5-4) based on their combined performance across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
